2000 Thor Cub 21 Hybrid
I have owned this since 2015. Selling because I got a new camper and bigger truck.
I have a clear title in hand.
This is a great light weight camper with aluminum frame that weighs 2808 pounds with nothing in it. It was designed so v6 Minivans or medium sized sport utilities could pull it.
The good:
AC works and blows very cold
Refrigerator works
Water system and Water Heater works
Furnace was working fine but does not ignite now.
Microwave works
Factory stereo and speaker and tape player work.
Waste System operational
All cushions in good shape.
Bed Mattresses/cushions are also in great shape. Not seen in pictures well because I wanted to make sure you could see the issue on the front fold out.
Original outside stove that hangs outside is still with unit and works.
Middle area after refrigerator across from bathroom turns into bunk or small dining area for 2
U Shaped seating are easily breaks down into a very large bed also. Works great for just a few people if you dont want to put fold outs down.
EASILY SLEEPS 7 Or 8
Plenty of storage, a shockingly large amount.
Unit was properly winterized.
The bad:
The things people usually are not honest about but would still make someone a great camper. But want you to be aware.
2x5 hole in front window screen and canvas that can be repaired. Also a gorilla taped over small rock sized hole from the mower on the front hard fold out. Mower shot a rock through that caused these 2 issues.
Some delamination on the roof and walls and some on floor. Also you can see in the front pop out bed that it is starting to go bad again. My son and I repaired both of these when we bought it in 2015 but it will need some attention and painted again. We must of not had the front tight enough. This was a common problem on these models so it affects the floor, walls, ceiling and fold out bed usually on the front of these hybrids, as you can see in Rear bed area it"s repair is still doing well. I could have hidden this with the mattress cushions but wanted to be upfront. Still extremely usable though. One stabilizer jack is damaged. The awning is there but starting to delaminate. One glass by door broken by rock from mower and covered with gorilla tape.
Tires are in fair condition.
Propane tanks do not go with unit.
Overall:
You will be purchasing a usable decent /fair condition camper. It is not perfect by any means at all.
This camper is hard to find and extremely usable.
Cash please(that would be easiest) If a Cashier"s check, I will need a copy of cashiers check prior to picking up so my bank can verify its validity. After that arrangements can be made for pick up.
