2000 Sterling Single Axle Dump Truck
This is a 2000 Sterling truck powered by a Caterpillar 3126 diesel engine and an Eaton Fuller six speed transmission. The truck has a 10 foot hydraulic dump bed that looks and works great. The tires average about 70-80 percent all the way around the truck. It is equipped with air brakes and the GVW is 30,280 pounds. We just put this truck through our shop and did any repairs that we thought it needed. The transmission was just taken out and had 2nd and 5th gear replaced, also we replaced the synchronizers for those gears at the same time. The bed cylinder was just repacked this week due to a small leak. The truck has been freshly sandblasted and repainted also and really looks nice. I believe this to be a good truck and work ready.
