2000 Monaco Diplomat 36D Diesel Pusher, light cosmetic project. Coach was recently driven 1850 miles with no issues. 45 miles from our destination, it slid into a ditch at less than 15 MPH. All glass remained intact. Cosmetic damage occurred to the front cap, and along the passenger side basement storage doors primarily. Drivability was not hindered. Cummins Diesel & Allison transmission with 75K. Runs well. 6 new Falken tires were installed (we have $3K in receipts) and have 358 miles on them. Onan 7500w diesel generator that runs. Roof is in good shape and has been regularly maintained. It has two slides that function as they should. Interior needs a good cleaning, but is complete with no damage to paneling or wood work. I would recommend steam cleaning the headliner. Appliances function as they should. There is wear to the jackknife sofa and dinette cushions that is consistent with its age and use. Front awning arm was peeled away from the coach and will need reattached. A new brake light was installed although not shown in the pictures. Overall the Monaco is very complete, functional, and roadworthy. Make no mistake however, it needs a thorough clean from top to bottom. Our intention was to remove the carpet and install LVT flooring. The fiberglass repairs are fairly insignificant provided you have the time. We planned to drive the coach up the Alcan Highway to spend time with family. The border is rumored to be closed for the foreseeable future, consequently I"ve lost interest in performing the repairs.
