Vehicle description
Thanks for looking at our RV. I bought this RV from the original owner in 2012. We took this RV form NYCity on multiple trips including going to Canada and Kentucky , Washington DC, the Carolinas, etc. , Never had an issue mechanically. On our first trip we had a rear tire blow that popped and broke open one of the underbody tanks. I believe it was the fresh water tank, but not sure, but no sewerage leaked (smell order) when it blew. We never fixed it because we never used the bathroom even once. We basically used this motorhome to travel in luxury on the road, so we would be able to eat, and stop and take naps on long road trips. We never "lived in" the RV just used it for long distance travels for comfort. My kids were small ( 8yrs & 11yrs old) at the time and we did not want to take our small kids in a car on long trips, so we figured with an RV, we would have the comforts of home on the road. Beds for napping for the kids if they tired, and a frig and stove to cook in case no food was available late at night on the road. It was great, while going 55mph if our kids got hungry mom would make them pizza or pasta on the road, home made.
after the Rear tire blew out while driving in Virginia, I bought all new 6 tires around 5 years ago. I ask had the transmission fluid and filter changed, I had all the rubber hoses in the engine changed, flushed the radiator fluid & new trans filter, I did not want to have any other issues due to age. I did a injector cleaning service, and of course changed the oil. I am almost sure I have all the service receipts in the RV, but the tires always have date codes. The tires have only 5K miles on them, and are about 5 years old.
The motorhome could use a good wash, we have not used it except for starting it up and moving it to get gas and some minor maintenance. It has been stored outdoors so after this winter it is a bit dirty. 3 times a year I started it up, add fresh fuel, and added tons of fuel stabilizer. It started up today on the first crank.
I added an aftermarket 3 camera system with sound so it has a back up camera with sound/microphone, a right side blind spot camera, and a roof camera to check overhead clearance. I also upgraded the side mirrors to much larger mirrors so see better. This was my first RV, I did not want to have an accident and wanted to be able to safely drive this rig, since I never drove something this big in my life before. Luckly no accidents.
The A/C works, but when I changed the engine air filter myself, I seemed to disconnect one of the vacuum lines in the engine compartment , so the air only blows thru the heater vents. This happened once before and the RV mechanic just re-connected the vacuum line and it worked perfect after. This is an easy fix that is well known to occur since vacuum lines are used to control air flow. The heating system works perfect.
Funny, The generator worked perfectly when I ran it last week, and now turns over but will not start/run but does crank. Most likely carb.
I also added new batteries for the entire RV, and they are fully charged on a triple charger all year long, they are not degraded and are still good for many years, and the front engine starter battery I upgraded to AGM, the best.
We have not taken this RV on a trip in two years, so this is the most up to date info as far as the status of what works and what needs to be addressed.
When I bought the RV in 2012 there was already some warping of the rear panel by the bedroom in back ( only one area) but the leak from the roof was fixed and internally I had the interior walls filled with foam sealer. That WAS the ONLY area the leaked before. Sealed since 2012. No leaks since.
I live in NYCity and the motorhome is parked in Long Island around one hour away by car for me to get to it. So if you want to see it, it has to be by appointment.
ALL reasonable offers will be definitely considered, I definitely am letting this RV go, so it will absolutely sell, (I am NOT holding out for top price, but I am not giving it away for free either.)
It will be sold AS-IS with NO other guarantee, buyer must inspect the RV themselves . Clear title in my hand
I am almost sure ( not positive) I have the original owners manuals etc and paperwork, but I definitely have TWO sets of keys to EVERY lock and every key is labeled so you know what each key is for. . About 15 keys on each set.
I think that is most of what I can recall, I will add more as it comes back to me.

Great starter/beginner RV at a low price with low miles in good condition.
Was my first RV ever and we L-O-V-E-D it for luxury travel with our small kids. No regrets. Our kids are in H.S & College now and no longer want to vacation with mom and dad. (sadness)
