Vehicle description
Up for auction today is my 2000 Freightliner FL70. It has a 16" flatbed that has 2 huge hydraulic cylinders to raise the dump bed. I can assure you the dump mechanism will never be overloaded. It is operated by an air-engaged PTO pump. I"ve owned the truck for about 5 years and it"s been worry free. The 5.9 Cummins cranks easily even in the coldest weather. The glow plugs are functional as well as a shoreline block heater. It has a 6 speed transmission that shifts easily. It has a working A/C, cruise control, air-ride drivers seat and a heated passenger side mirror. The interior is in good shape with no tears in the seats and everything intact in the dash. All gauges are functional. The exterior is also in great shape. No cracks in the fiberglass. Nothing other than ordinary wear for a 19 year old truck. The tires are in excellent shape with virgin rubber on the front aluminum wheels. Two of the rears are brand new virgin rubber and the other two are recaps with probably 75% remaining tread. The tires on the air-operated tag axle are also in like new condition. The truck has a gooseneck hitch (frame- mounted) as well as a rear pintle hitch with 7-way plugs at both locations that are operated by the electric brake controller. There is a frame mounted underbody tool box on the passenger side. The truck runs excellent, drives great and needs nothing to go to work today. I wouldn"t be afraid to drive it any distance. The only reason I"m selling it is because I"ve bought a 30" tilt-deck trailer and I no longer need this truck in my fleet. It has been mainly used to pull a 32" pintle hitch trailer (which is already sold) to haul round bales of hay. I regularly hauled 36 rolls that weigh approx. 900# each on the combo and it handled it with no problems. Feel free to contact me with any questions or take it for a test drive. I am also open to discuss delivery options at a reasonable rate. I believe in treating others the same way I want to be treated and if there is anything wrong with the truck, I"m not aware of it. Happy bidding and have a blessed day!
