Vehicle description
You are bidding on a 2000 Coachman Sportsman 39 foot RV - Diesel pusher. Very Low Miles - excellent mechanical condition. Allison automatic tranny. Single rear axle.
She was a running driving RV when I bought her. I bought it out west and, before hiring a driver to bring it to Chicago, put new tires on her (so they have less than 1,000 miles on them) and new brakes. I wanted to make sure that she was road worthy.
When she arrived we took one or two trips in her (local). I like the RV but wanted a better interior. My wife bought new curtains, etc and I gutted the interior to the walls. I hired a local man to work on rebuilding the interior, gave him $10,000 - he worked a few weeks and disappeared. Then I got sick (battling cancer). So worked stopped on her.
The engine and transmission are in excellent shape. No issues there. Leveling jacks work. Generators did work when parked, as did the A/C, etc. The last picture is of the interior prior to stripping it. I will be posting more pictures this week.
She will drive fine - and can be driven, but be aware, the interior is apart. Inspections might be wise. Should be purchased by someone with experience in RVs.
I am starting the bidding at no reserve as I need it gone. It"s in my driveway and really doesn"t fit well. The gelcoat has faded, one windshield is cracked. She has needs, but again, I was going to make it new inside and out.
Clean title in hand.
Happy to answer any questions. Sold as-is, where-is. No returns nor refunds.
