“Good overall condition for age. Only thing needed is a new lower door panel. It's starting to rot and will need replacement, the rest of the door is ok, just where it was parked it held water there. Needs 2 front tires to make a long trip, hold air, but very low tread. Back 4 tires are brand new. Liftgate, motor, transmission, heat and ac all work perfectly fine.” |

Vehicle description
I have a 2000 Model Chevrolet G3500 16" Box truck. It"s a tall ceiling height box truck. I used it with my appliance delivery business. It"s been very reliable, the liftgate works perfectly. Other than changing the battery and the new back tires it hasn"t needed any maintenance. It has very low miles for the age, and the motor transmission represent that. Heat and ac all work. I did have to gas the ac up at the start of the summer this year, but only the 1 time, so I don"t think it"s something that needs repair, probably a small seal etc. I haven"t added dye or checked into it yet, just gassed it and it"s still cooling fine. It will need the bottom panel of the roll up door replaced soon, it still latches and works fine but the wood is pretty rotten. It has one dent in the top of the box, but it doesn"t cause a leak, so we haven"t addressed it. Will need 2 front tires real soon as well. If picking up, plan to replace before a long trip. Been very reliable and has hauled a ton of stuff, just don"t use it much anymore. Doing less appliance packages and more 1-2 piece installs, that this box truck is just too big for. I can"t find any way to assign actual book value to this, since the g3500"s are always just a regular van, not a cutaway box like this. So I"m starting the bidding at 5000, the cheapest one with this amount of miles locally was 6000.00 …. I feel it"s worth closer to 7 or 8000. But I couldn"t find one of these same vans for sale locally or on ebay. Everything is either much larger, smaller, or way more miles. So name your price. .I will tell you before bidding this isn"t really shippable without hiring a "lowboy" trailer and paying a ton to ship it. When I bought this one I looked at shipping one in and it"s probably not cost effective. I will meet you at the local air port to drive it back home, or you can hire a driver, but I wouldn"t plan to ship. I"m happy to assist however I can if your not local, but this really needs to be a local purchase or a drive out purchase. I have driven it as far as 12 hrs away and had no issues, with the front 2 tires fixed it should drive anywhere you like. Thanks for looking and happy bidding.
