formally owned by the state of MD, this 2000 CHEVROLET C8500 is great running condition. the CAT diesel starts on command and runs with no issues and is matted to an electronically controlled automatic transmission. with only 114k miles on it, this truck runs down the highway with no issues. this money maker is equipped with a hydraulic plow and salt spreader, both of which are in working order (please see videos). they are currently in the stainless steel dump body for easy transport. the dump body on this truck is completely functional (see videos).
the exterior as you can see is in good condition. it does have some minor paint issues on the rocker panels( see pictures). i would expect much worse for a work horse of this year. the state does its best to keep the maintenance up on their fleet. this truck is not flawless cosmetically but it does clean up nice and serves its purpose.
the interior as you can see is in ok condition. the driver seat does have some wear on it, but as far as functionality. she does what she is supposed too. it does have a cracked piece of plastic on the under dash cover as seen in pictures. if i was going to spend hours upon ours making that money i would have no issues being in this truck. if you are interesting in this one please pay attention to our other auctions. we have another truck just like this that will be listed about the same time. if you are interested in the pair maybe we could work something out. if you have a question or are unsure of something please ask. we try our best to cover as much as possible but we are not perfect. there are 2 videos please make sure to watch both.
