We ended the auction after one day because a typo was found concerning the mileage. The unit actually has 29,509 miles. Guyton Fire Department. The city now contracts with the county to provide fire services thus all assets of the city fire department are being sold at auction. This sale is for a one-owner 2000 American Lafrance Metropolitan Custom Cab with a 1250 pump and a1250 tank. The unit has never been wrecked and has only 29,509 miles. It has rescue style rool-up doors, an extended top cab, and walk through panel. The unit drives like new and comes with ladders, Q-siren, pike pole, plumbed with a masterstream quick connection, fire extinguisher,(2) stream lights, Foam Pro system, emergency lighting, electric siren, 911 seats, and A/C, It is extremely clean. The pump was rebuilt two years ago replacing bearings. The pump currently has a vibration. A pump repair tech said something is caught in the impellers intake side. He believes it"s the flapper valve from the tank to pump valve. The truck is bought as-is. The unit is road ready. Must be paid-in-full before it is released. Title at city office. Payment to be made to the City of Guyton. The truck can be viewed but by appointment only.
