| “114,316 miles. Cummins ISC 8.3L 315HP L6 Turbo Diesel w/ Allison 3060 automatic & exhaust brake. Runs and drives good, no mechanical problems. New alternator & radiator. Drove back 1200 miles with no problems. Accuride Aluminum wheels & decent tires. Spartan Chassis. Body in good shape with average wear and some scrapes & scratches from regular use. Roof looks good and no leaks. 1 water damage spot in common area below driver's window from previous leak. 2 slides, large living room, small bedroom. Both work good, rear slide sometimes needs a push. Auto levelers don't work, looks like a broken switch. Onan 7.5Kw generator works good. 2000W Continuous inverter. You are looking at a 2000 Fleetwood American Tradition American Coach Luxury Model MM-2242 40ft Class A Motorhome. We purchased this as a bank repo, and we have some of the original and resale paperwork. It was originally sold for $221,000 and resold in 2005 for $118,000. We drove it back 1200 miles and didn"t have any problems with it. The generator works good and powers up all of the appliances, the plumbing works good, and the roof and dash A/C works good. We didn"t check every single component and it is sure to need some attention somewhere, but all of the major things seem to work as they should. The RV is built on a Spartan Mountain Master chassis and has a Cummins ISC 8.3L 315HP L6 Turbo Diesel with an Allison 6-speed push-button automatic w/ economy mode and an exhaust brake. It has a new alternator and radiator. It also came with Banks performance kit for the engine that looks like it is all there but will need installed. It has Accuride Aluminum wheels and decent tires. The underneath and roof looks good and it has no leaks or major water spots. There is a water spot in a common area below the driver"s window from a previous leak. The body is in good shape with average wear and some scrapes and scratches from regular use. It has lots of slide out basement storage. There are 2 power slide outs, one large one in the living area and a smaller bedroom one. They both work good, but the rear one needed an occasional push to come out but went in fine. The auto levelers didn"t work, but we found a switch inside that was they wrong type partially installed, so it looks like a bad switch was being repaired but we are not sure. It has a good working Onan 7.5Kw generator and a 2000W continuous inverter. There is an outside mounted shower and an TV and stereo speakers mounted in an outside compartment.
The interior is clean and in good shape and is a very nice upgraded luxury model. it does have some minor damage & wear (see pics). The rear bedroom is large with a queen sized bed, full wardrobe and bedroom TV. The kitchen has a 4-door gas & electric fridge with icemaker, Corian countertops, full stove & oven and micro / convection oven. The living area has nice leather couches that have some wear but are in good shape. It has a nice bathroom with glass shower and a washer / dryer. The driver"s area has nice leather seats, cruise control and cold A/C. It looks like we have all of the books, plus some extra paperwork from the previous sale. Everything on this motorhome seems to work good, but, as I said, we do not have time or resources to go over the whole thing meticulously, but we did drive it far and reported everything we found. If you"re looking for a motorhome in perfect condition, move on, but if you want a great deal on good running, good working motorhome that still looks good at a fraction of the price that is was new, bid now, no reserve!
