Vehicle description
Arctic Fox slide in Truck Camper. Great camper with a few problems. We used it all last winter while remodeling our house. Its a bit to big for my standard bed truck, so I have no use for it as a camper now. I recommend you only use a long bed truck with this (unless moving short distances). My truck in the pic is a standard bed HD diesel. Notice the length in the truck. That gives you an idea of the size of the camper. Great setup if you are looking for a nice camper and can fix a few problems on it.
-Queen size bed
-Dinnete converts to bed
-Shower/Toilet
-Fridge/freezer ( Propane/electric )
-Stove/oven
-Generator (propane)
-AC
-Heat (propane)
-Sink
-Electric jacks that swing out wide enough for a dually -Lots of storage
-Misc storage on roof -Slide out where dinette is -Shore power hookup -City water hook up -No leaks
Problems:
-The area over the cab of the truck (Where the bed is) has separated from the body a bit. Previous owner did a temp fix that has worked fine for us, but if you plan to take this on regular camping trips you will want to reinforce it (See pic of the damage).
-Previous owner also reinforced the camper where it sits in the bed of your truck. You can tell the wood is damaged a bit too. Not neccessarily a problem, but noticably not stock. (See pic).
-Controller for jacks is fickle. Can be a pain to raise and lower camper sometimes. I"m told these are a cheap replacement (see pic).
Please look at all pictures as these give the best representation of the campers condition.
