Vehicle description
First and foremost please check our feedback. This a one owner, all documentation, 71K mile 1999 Winnebago 22QD. We will never "puff up" an add to make a sale. What you see is what you get, no more-no less. We are selling this unit for the 92 yo original owner. We do not know RV"s so we will not pretend to.
The very unfortunate part about this unit is that it sat out doors the last 10 years. The gelcoat is oxidized, the decals are shot, the maroon bottom paint is faded. Within the last year the vehicle had a complete engine and transmission check-over. It has a new automotive battery, coolant flushed and is good for -50F. Plugs, plug wires, etc. I drove it today over 20 miles. The temp stayed dead on, no signs of overheating at all. Transmission shifted smooth, cruise control is working. Tires look very good, I cannot see dry rot.
The coach batteries (Interstate deep cycle) are both dead (optional dual battery compartment) which has the common rust issue. It is plugged in to 110v and the inverter is working. As of this posting I have not tried starting the generator.
Also, I have not tried any appliance, toilet, sink, etc. Microwave is fine.
It does appear that around the coach door on the inside there is evidence of small roof leak.
This coach does need an abundance of elbow grease and tender care both inside and out.
As far as mechanical, I can only speak to what I have been told by the family.
You will be buying this unit as is and shown.
Feel free to send any questions via Ebay.
