Vehicle description
* PRICE REDUCED TO $9,999 FOR A QUICK SALE*
This is a mechanically sound and easy to drive Class C RV with just under 40k miles on it. It runs and drives great with no leaks. We wouldn"t hesitste driving it anywhere. Its a Sunseeker by Forest River model # 305S. It had a $2k brake job done in October of 2017 and I do have the receipt; brake pads, rotors, seals, calipers, hoses, etc. Front tires are like new [DOT stamped 2015 but installed in 2018] and the back aren"t too far from it [DOT stamped and installed in 2017]. It has two like new deep cycle batteries, and the Onan 4kw MicroQuiet generator (made by Cummins) only has 208 hours on it. Did I mention that it has the bulletproof Triton V10 E450 engine in it?
This RV sleeps 5 people comfortably but you could easily put a cot and/or sleeping bag in the living room floor. The kitchen has an electric slide and all appliances work great; AC, Heat, Water Heater, Water Pump, Fridge, Stove, Convection Microwave. Heat and AC are ducted. Its not new by any means so it has expected wear for a 20 year old RV. Besides normal wear the canvass on both the front and slide awning"s need to be replaced. The front passenger side laminate around the loft window needs to be re-seamed as a very strong wind gust ripped part of the laminate off. It also has a couple spots of cosmetic delamination as is common with these vehicles. The carburetor on the Genset could use a good cleaning as it surges a bit. It does start right up and holds a full load though. The heat/ac in the cab work great but the vent selection is stuck on defrost due to a vacuum leak, bad actuator, or bad switch. It also a small 12"x12" soft spot on the roof but there are no leaks. The rubber roof was compromised at some point before being sealed by previous owners. Since it"s not leaking I wouldn"t be too concerned with patching it. I"m just trying to be as honest and descriptive as possible because I don"t want to waste anyones time. If you come here with the expectation that you are buying a mechanically sound 20 year old RV with average wear for the age and a few minor issues then you won"t be disappointed. Its not a new RV folks! With a little TLC you"ll realize just how good of a deal this is. Go compare the price of a new one. .
The RV books for $13700+ on NADA so taking into consideration the repairs (appx $2-2.5k to have it professionally serviced) and the fact I don"t want to mess with servicing it myself its priced at $10k cash firm. Buyers who utilize need to keep in mind there will be a $150 fee added ($10,149 total purchase price) to cover fees. If you"re a handyman that can make the repairs yourself then this is a steal of a deal, and if not you can have it professionally serviced and still come out with a great deal notably less than it books for! Serious inquiries only. No trades.
The RV is located 20 miles north of Bonners Ferry Idaho near Eastport. Its available to be shown after 5pm on weekdays or anytime on Sunday. Clean and clear title in hand so come and get it before someone else does!
