We are selling our 1999 Safari Trek Model 2340.(sad we are!). . We really love this little (26ft) class A motorhome. and it has been great. Very reliable ! ….My wife doesn"t like to drive big vehicles and we want to get a small van type that she feels comfortable driving. It is powered by a diesel engine (6.5 Detroit) that is very reliable and has NEVER failed to start ! (And does not burn oil) This motor home is in remarkable condition especially for its age (20 years old) Many ,many things have been done to this motor-home . .maintenance upgrades or just add-ons to make it more enjoyable to drive and camp in. I will list all the known upgrades that have been done below. Most all have receipts for actual costs and dates. The the Magic bed (from ceiling) was removed by a previous owner for constant maintenance issues. We have replaced it with a VERY comfortable hide-a-bed couch with a memory foam mattress. Very comfortable and like new (6 months old). Hydraulic leveling jacks, 4000 watt generator(low hours), air conditioning,microwave, 2-backup battery charging systems,New batteries,New tires,New roof AC.,New Refrig,New lifetime (transferable warranty) RV ARMOR roof ! Has backup camera ! LED lights through out. This motor home ( I have owned several) is by far the BEST and most comfortable to drive motor home I have ever owned. .This is because it was put through inspection at Hendersons in Oregon for steering and tracking. Over $3000 was spent getting it to drive like a dream.,Parts like Track bars,New steering box,steering stabilizer etc. Now the kicker for this motorhome. .It was in a slight fender bender and crunched some fiberglass on the front. .It was repaired by a previous owner (RV body shop ) then it was completely repainted with aircraft quality paint (for aircraft aluminum). . this was billed at $17,167.14 (have receipts) so at $19000 (my asking price (FIRM) its a real deal! The following is a a partial list of of upgrades,addons,repairs done to the Trek Motor home and approximate dates and costs. There is 117,000 miles total on the engine and chassis runs REALLY well ! 1. New Penguin air Conditioner and thermostat (2008 $993) 2. All NEW 6-tires (2014 $1270) 14. Steering stabilizer shock New batteries fuel hoses etc (2014 $2487) 15. New Refrigerator Dometic (2014 $1620) 16. New lift diesel fuel pump (2014 $468) 17. All NEW RV Armour roof ! LIFETIME warranty (transferable to new owner) (2014 $3750) 18. All NEW tires (les Swaub) (2018 $2377) 19. New Driver mirror/Front jack/Furnace motor (2016 $1040) 20. Test injectors,new oil line (2016 $1281) 21. Removal of magic bed and couch NEW ceiling material and trim (2017 $1004) 22. All NEW house batteries (2018 $) 23.
