Most models of Roadtrek don"t have this much exterior storage! I fit my foldable bicycle, my daughter"s bicycle, all our sports and camping and fishing equipment, spare tire, propane tank, and more in those exterior boxes, it"s great.
1999 Chevy Roadtrek 200 Versatile * 3500 body with 5.7L engine, RWD * Solar Kit includes 4-100 watt panels, 2 LiFePo4 batteries, 60 amp charge controller, all by Renogy, and a 1500 watt inverter by voltworks * 261xxx miles, maintained by my dad who"s an automotive teacher at a college for 20 years * some year-old belts and hoses * year-old wheels and tires with EXTRA spare tire included * year-old platinum spark plugs * awning * Onan Microlite 2800 generator with 55-ish hours that runs perfectly * new starter battery and alternator * new auxilliary battery for DC components like interior fan, lights, water pump, etc. * a couple of the rear runner lights are out but the brake, reverse, and blinker lights are working fine so nothing illegal * some window screens need re-fitted * 3 inch memory foam mattress (blue-ish thing) on main bed * I"m 6"1" and fit comfortably in this bed with another person * technically sleeps 4 but one of the rear seats was dismantled to install a 43" UHD 4k Smart TV by LG on a custom swivel to turn in the front into a theater, you"re welcome * 360 degree swivel captains seats up front to watch your awesome TV in theater mode * water pump and heater work great, toasty showers in no time * toilet flushes fine but has fresh water line stopped so have to manual pour instead of stepflush * one cabinet painted with chalkboard paint * fresh water hose included * sewer extending hose included * custom interior blackout and insulation curtains for added comfort * i secure one cabinet and one drawer with bungees while driving so they dont lose their contents * power steering fluid seems to leak a bit but not much, I"ve used a bottle or two over the past year to refill it * air-conditioner included but not installed * rear seat included, but not installed due to TV set up * exterior looks really good, just a few dings, a small bit of rust under passenger door, and the rear bumper is offset a bit on the back left side, see pics * 20 lb propane tank included with room for a larger one underneath the body near the generator * 3-way Dometic fridge with freezer works very well, but needs new thermostat knob * interior rear cabinet, insulation, and some boards under the bed were replaced by us when we bought it because previous owners had let water get in through a seal that we also fixed * parking brake shouldnt be engaged, it doesnt unengage easily * two-propane burners in the kitchen with porcelain sink * shower gets nice and hot and drains well * the attachment for the shower head where it hangs on the wall needs replaced and the curtain rail is partly supported by a combination of adhesives * small enough to fit in parking spots but big enough to give you space and commodities on your travels * engine runs super smooth because my dad taught automechanics how to work on vehicles at a college for two decades and he"s taken care of this one for me
I just drove this out to California and back with my daughter and would trust it all over again! It"s totally off-gird because the solar panels will provide all the electricity you need, but in times of extreme power consumption, just fire up the onboard generator. We stayed everywhere from the middle of the dessert to underneath "No Camping" signs in small beach towns on the west coast, and no one bothered us and we were always off-grid. Very stealthy. I think most people think it"s just a work van or something, but no, you"re ballin" out.
I"m willing to accept cash, prefer cashier"s check or money order, and stuff like that. My daughter and I live in this RV right now so once we sell it we"ll be moving and not willing to deal with an escrow service that makes us wait another two days after the sale to make sure it"s actually sold. Feel free to text me, Nick, at if you have any questions or concerns! Obviously, there are a few small things you might wanna handle if you"re pickier than I am, but overall this RV is ready to ride and live in if you want! If you"d like to inspect it or send someone out before bidding, just let me know! But also check out the video tour, link up top!
