1999 Peterbilt 379 EXHD American Class. truck has a cat 2WS04690 engine set at 550 HP 1850 torque. when we plugged computer in to verify settings it only shows 1.7 miles, the Speedo shows 1,687,547. The only thing I can figure is truck sat for very long time with no batteries and computer reset ? The engine has all new Cat Reman Injectors , it runs very smooth with No leaks and hardly No Blow by. The engine appears to been rebuilt at some time but I have No history. The injectors where replaced because had been sitting so long with old fuel gummed up. The fuel system has been flushed and it has 2 new 150 gallon fuel tanks with new fuel gauge sending units. The 18 speed transmission shifts good and clutch feels fine. Truck has the big 2050 driveline with Rockwell rears riding on low air leaf 3.55 ratio. This truck is not perfect but could get in and go to work. It has all matching 24.5 aluminum peterbilt wheels. The steers are 75% and drives are 70% virgin. Brakes and drums are 80%. The hood is not original to truck , I changed for a better one I had can tell difference in color and does not have stripes. Things truck needs - clean paint job , new stacks , battery / step box , air dryer hisses thru pop off with engine off , shifter leaks air with flipper down , and the air switches in dash for fifth wheel , power divider , and air dump hiss leak air. Truck has No Rust. This is a No Reserve Auction , 500 deposit due at auctions end balance due in 3 days. Cash on pickup or Wire preferred.
