1999 Mazda Miata MX5 Race Car
VEHICLE DESCRIPTION For sale is this 1999 Mazda Miata MX-5 that has been extensively modified for track use. This was a none expense spared build and developed to make great reliable power, be extremely safe and handle incredibly well! This car started its life as a Spec Miata then converted to the car you see today. Full Roll Cage with Nascar door bars, front tubes run behind the dash and tucked to the A-Pillar to make the interior as roomy as possible. A Ultrashield Full Containment seat for the driver with G-Force racing harness. Also, Naca Duct poly quarter window, DPI Q/R & Driven Steering wheel, Flyin Miata Shifter, along with a AIM Dash and Data System to monitor the motor. Factory Mazda Hardtop. The Hood has installed louvers to extract heat from the engine bay. Suspension is a set of Adjustable Mazda Motorsports AFCO Jesse Prather Shocks, Adjustable Front Sway Bar, SM Eibach Rear Bar, V8 Roadster adjustable tubular control arms, Sport Brake Kit, 15x8 Wheels Shod with 205 BFG tires. This car handles EXTREMELY well and has great adjustability. 5 Speed transmission with a 5.5" Ultralight weight clutch and Torsen Diff put the power to the ground. The motor started its life as a low mile 99/00 NB Miata 1.8, we did a 2.0 Liter stroker conversion utilizing only the best internals. 11:1 Compression Ratio, Mazda Motorsports Intake Cam, Skunk Throttlebody, High Flow Header, ATI Super Damper, Auxiliary Oil Cooler, Accusump System, Haltech Elite Stand alone engine management system, Cold Air Intake, and much more. Its current state, the car is detuned to 159 RWHP but it will make near 200hp with some tuning. The car is wrapped in a matte black finish.
