Vehicle description
This Diesel Box Truck is made by HINO which is Toyota"s Commercial Truck Brand. It is an automatic Transmission and does not require a CDL based on its weight. I"ve owned this truck for the past 10 years and it has been a great truck but I"m ready for something newer so I"m selling this one. The best feature of this truck is the HUGE aluminum Liftgate. It is Hydraulic and can lift my Scissor Lift or Golf Cart into the back ! Those are both super heavy. We even lifted (2) Large Motorcycles into at once. The liftgate new is about $6000 so, you"re basically buying a lift gate and getting the truck for free but the truck is good. The truck runs and shifts fine. Tires are good. AC and Heat work fine. No rips in the seats. No cracks in the glass. Brakes stop fine but peddle goes down. Mechanic told me they need to be bled and said it would be $1000. I"m not spending that or anything more at this point, I"m selling and buying a newer truck. It stops fine for now. The box has E-Track all the way down. It is a used truck with 325,000 miles and is priced accordingly with no warrantee. I would drive it anywhere tomorrow - well if it had cruise control. It does NOT and not sure if that can be added. It will serve someone well who doesn"t drive long trips - your leg gets a little tired. Also - The truck does not have any leaks that the mechanic could find during the last oil change. The truck is located in Memphis. We do not offer delivery service - you must pick it up. Again the truck is sold as is with no warrantee. You will get a Title and Bill of Sale. We are not a dealer so we cannot issue any drive out tags. So whats needing fixed? Well, the aforementioned Brake Bleeding. The windshield wipers are dry rotting and the wiper motor only has one speed of wipe. The headlights are a little dim and need to be replaced as well. And the drivers door handle as of a few weeks ago was broke and needs to be replaced - for now you have to roll down the window and open the door from the outside. If I fix all of that then the price would be a lot more but I"m not, I"m done. I spent $4500 on the brakes 2 years ago replacing a bunch of stuff - not sure what all but they said it needed it. Buy a Hydraulic liftgate and get a great truck that comes with it, just needs a little TLC. Also, for any speed demons, these trucks do not go fast down the interstate (not that you should drive fast in them) This one likes 60-65mph and I can"t get it much over 70. Save fuel and drive 55-65mph and the engine will thank you.
