Bought this unit with the intent to do non emergency transports. I ended up deciding not to take that route and unit has been sitting around since. Its a 6.5L GM diesel. I have full maintenance records from the one and only previous owner. Truck has no rust just minor paint bubble in a few places on the aluminum box. Unit also has a Hitch as previous owner used it as a backup to pull a rescue boat.
While sitting around it developed a problem that while running it would have periods of rough running and sometimes would even shut off. My buddy is a mechanic and I took it to his place. He does not have any previous experience with these engines. He looked at it and during these periods of rough running it would throw a code. The code came back as "Injection Pump Timing". He was going to try and fix it over the summer but never got the time. Now Winter is starting and I need to move it out. It currently won"t start cause the batteries are shot from sitting all summer. I have no use for it and nobody has the time to fix it so I am selling it as it sits. Its really a beautiful rig with only 28,000 original miles. I included pictures of the under side of the unit while it was up on the lift. Its a super clean rig that seen very little use of its life. It will need to be towed. Would be a steal for someone that has the time and know how to fix it. * Lights and siren disabled per ebay policy*
