1999 Ford F-550 4x4 7.3 Powerstroke Turbo Diesel 4R100 Automatic Transmission Four Wheel Drive - Floor Shift
XLT option Package, power windows, locks, tilt wheel, Cruise works, A/C blows cold.
wrecker bed is Century 10 series with Right Approach feature. 21" long steel bed, stationary headboard, wheel lift with aluminum scoop L arms. Powered by an electric shift Muncie PTO, transmission mounted.
(in 1999 , this bed was still being marketed as a Challenger product, in the years after they changed it to a century brand, same bed. all parts are still readily available from Miller and ZIPs truck )
This is a solid, presentable truck. Runs and Drives, goes down the highway at 65 mph pretty well. Chassis is reasonably clean and straight, Cab has new rockers and corners All of the Hydraulic components are incredibly fast and strong.
This is 21 year old equipment that has been used for commercial purposes for most of its existence. There is nothing new or perfect about it. If you intend to put it to work in rotation or high volume motor club calls, I am sure it will need some repairs, maintenance, improvements, tune up, etc.
With that being said - It has worked fine for my needs, transporting auction purchases and scrap cars. I still use it a few times a week, including a 3 hour round trip just last week It was well maintained by its original owner, who compiled the most detailed service log I have ever seen. (includes over 150 records)
All equipment shown in the tool boxes and on the bed will be included in sale. bridles, straps, J hooks, extra spool of recovery cable, tag lights, snatch blocks, etc.
Light bar is a Federal Signal LEGEND 44" ($1100 new) with traffic director and multiple patterns
