For sale is a 1999 Ford E-350 V8 diesel 16 ft box with over-cab loft. It is a RV conversion project, with the majority of the work done already. It is incognito, meaning it looks like a normal box truck from the outside, with a fully functioning living space on the inside. Park it anywhere, live anywhere, no one will ever know!
amenities include:
-custom fabricated swing out rear doors
-false wall with cedar siding, windows and exterior door
-outside the living space storage (a "garage") for muddy boots, bikes, gas cans, etc
- kitchen area with lots of storage, fully functioning sink and hook up for propane tank/counter top stove
-40 gal water tank with Flojet DC water pump
-storage area for drinking water tank
-shower/small tub plumbed to water tank with overhead storage and medicine cabinets/mirrors
-large closet with spare tire storage behind driver seat (spare tire included)

-custom fabricated battery bank with sealed box and charging fume exhaust
- Iota DLS45/IQ4 charger/converter which smart charges the batter bank as well as powering the DC fuse panel off of AC shore power

-sitting bench/extra sleeping area with lots (!) of storage underneath and above
-fold out kitchen table
-sleeping loft in over-cab area with built in bookshelves, charging port and lights
-water intake on outside plumbed to fill the water tank
-skylight that lets in tons of natural light
-insulated walls and ceiling
-lots of other little extras included (portable water heater, box of electrical/plumbing supplies, propane tank)
About the truck:
These things run for ever! Engine is in good condition, although it"s been sitting for a while. It had an oil, oil filter and fuel filter change recently, with approx 10 miles on it since then. It has two new batteries for the truck, turns over and starts great. Tires are in decent condition. Comes with a long retractable ramp that you could use, re-purpose, resell or scrap. Truck/engine is easily worth over half the asking price in itself!
Things that need to be done still:
You could live in this truck right now, no problem. For long trips, it would be best to have a mechanic check everything out first. To make it a fully functional RV, you would need to:
-hook up the hot water heater (if you want)
-install a grey water/black water tank, if you want to register it as an RV. Can be registered as a truck as is. Through plumbing installed, just need tank and hook up. The process of changing title to RV is straightforward and would save on insurance costs.
-install AC and/or heater (if you want, not included)
This is a great tiny house project for anyone who wants to travel the land in comfort, with the amenities of home, but with the added flexibility of making that home anywhere. Worry less about break-ins and finding campsites; you can park anywhere and go unnoticed!
This was a fun project for me, and I"m excited to pass it on to someone else who wants to enjoy it. Please feel free to ask any questions you might have about it.
Pick up only. I"ll store as long as you need once payment is received.
