Vehicle description

This is a 1999 Dodge Roadtrek RV
it was owned by an old guy that i did work for. I love these Vans so I started to restore it, I learned quickly restoring one of these is like eating an elephant., one bite at a time. The Mechanics were decent, I originally was going to replace Engine and tranny but my Mechanic said Engine leak-down and oil pressure was perfect. So for reliability we replaced Water pump, serpentine belt,Valve cover Gaskets, Intake Manifold gasket,Lube Chassis,Replace disc brake pads,Spark Plugs,Thermostat, all Coolant Hoses,Tensioner and fan Clutch. Runs and sounds perfect.
The tranny shifted rougher than I like and slipped a little.
I had it rebuilt last year by one of AZ Best.
The PAINT was desert faded, but ZERO RUST none. I wanted it to looked nice so all dents and dings were removed it was sanded and primered and all decal lines removed. The paint is good, like Maaco good, after spending $3500 to prep, i received painting Estimates of $7K for Great but it was too much so I spent $2000 just for paint and it is perfect for me.
It has a generator with only 90 hours and it works great and AC & Microwave work great.
Van has 4 Brand New Hankook Heavy Duty Tire installed last month.
Brand New MAXFAN Fan Installed
1 year old main Battery New rear Battery
New Windshield was installed last month
AC Blows Cold
The Van has a couple quirks, when i reassembled the seat swivels the seats rock a little more than original, it might be something i did on reassemble. And when you go to start it cranks for a second and if you stop cranking it starts instantly on second crank. I have spent $100s trying to figure, but easier to just crank 2 times
In order to get out the old VAN Smell, I ripped up all the Carpet, trashed all the Curtains, Bought all new FOAM for back, and had it redone a durable Vinyl, laid new flooring, and installed new carpet up front. The front seats were dried out so i found a perfect set of Sherwood conversion seats had them recovered and installed.
You will need to buy replacement curtains on ETSY!
This van is way better than original ones but I have not had time to go over holding Tanks , Toilet water pumps etc. They were next on my list.
They look great but have not even tested so i have no idea of condition
And recently during a monsoon the roof window leaked , which means you need to take frame off and butyl putty them. instructions are on the internet.
Van has all tables and post I also have all original paperwork
Van has current SMOG Certificate
It also has original door panels, original color, I was going to cut Bamboo panels for van.
The van also needs work on side steps reinforcement which is typical for this van
I am including my number if you have questions because it is too hard to list everything
I do not have a stupid reserve it is reasonable
I can Help in transportation if out of state
