Hello and thanks for viewing our 99 Chevy 3500 Utility Truck. We purchased this truck from a local municipality where it was lightly used and stored indoors since new. Becuase the truck was only used inside town limits it has allowed it to only have 70k orig miles. And due to the fact it was municipal owned it was serviced every 30 days , all fluids and maintenances were changed and preformed on time. This truck is in great running and driving order , it can be purchased and put right To use. It is equipped with the super reliable 6.5 Turbo Diesel Engine and heavy duty transmission and suspension. The new diesels are way too expensive to maintain and repair. A engine repair on a newer diesel will cost more then double what we are selling this truck for. These older diesels are really popular right now due to low maintenance and low inspection requirements. To have one this clean and in this great of shape with the low miles is not easy. This truck can be purchased and if cared for properly, it could last another 10 years plus. There are some Of these trucks on the road with 500k miles plus. The engine fires right up with a quick turn of the key even in the cold. It doesn’t make any odd noises or blow white smoke from the exhaust. There is zero blow by. The transmission shifts perfectly through all it’s gears. Suspension and brakes are good , tires are not new but good. Utility body isn’t rusted out, all cabinet bottoms are super strong.
