For sale today is our 1998 Volvo WG Tri-Axle 24" flatbed truck. This truck has reliable power under the hood, with a Caterpillar 3306 turbo diesel engine, backed by an Eaton Fuller 8-speed manual transmission. The tag axle is operated via a Hendrickson Air Adjustable Axle System. This truck runs and drives just like it should, with a top speed of around 62 mph. The truck does have A/C, it blows cool-but should probably be charged to get it to COLD. The rubber is in good shape, this truck is ready to be put back to work. The boom is a Hiab 235K-1 wallboard crane, with a rated 6,000# lift capacity. The fork attachment could be replaced with a hydraulic grapple, which I have seen before, if you wanted to use for picking up logs or whatever other material you should choose. There has recently been $6k spent on this truck, with having the lower cylinder rebuilt, and some of the hoses replaced; there are no hydraulic leaks. We used the remote with the supplied 50" cord, but could not get it to pair up to operate wirelessly-but someone else may know more about how to do that than me. This should make someone a very nice, very versatile truck. This truck is located at our shop in Concord, NC where we are also offering it for sale locally. Thank you for looking.
