1998 International 3800 School Bus Thomas Body - 71 Passenger Capacity Navistar T444E Diesel V8 Engine Alison 4 Speed Automatic Transmission The bus runs, drives, brakes, and steers without any problem. There are no issues other than just small cosmetic stuff, or a bulb out here or there, etc. - Camera and DVR system installed. - Air actuated entry door and brakes - All seats are in tact. No damages. Things worth mentioning: - The bus does NOT have any batteries currently installed. New batteries will need to be placed in the bus before it can be started and ran. The winning buyer will need to supply their own batteries. It requires a minimum of two (2) truck batteries. Plan to bring two good batteries with you if you want to start or drive the bus. This was originally going to be converted over to a "skoolie" RV so I already did all the foot work to have it classified as a "motor home." It currently has a valid (and transferable) Vermont registration/title that has the body style already listed as "MH" and it"s valid until June 30 of 2020. With this Vermont registration, once I sign off, you can then re-title it in any other state (Indiana, Ohio, etc) as a "motor home" and bypass all the stupid requirements of having to take all the seats out, and have it inspected, and blah blah blah. This is a turn-key Skoolie project bus. Final words: Inspections in person are fine, and highly recommended. If you want to take it on a test drive, that"s fine, but bring at least two (2) charged truck batteries with you. The bus currently does NOT have insurance on it. In order to drive it, you will need to sign an agreement, assuming any and all liabilities before it"s taken on a public roadway. Inspections must be set up for during the week as nobody is at the warehouse on the weekends, and I will NOT drive over there on the weekends to meet people because of too many no shows, tire kickers, and time wasters. Other than that. . the bus will remain available until the listing is deleted or the unit is sold, and at (at minimum) a deposit is made. The bus is cross posted across multiple platforms, so we reserve the right to pull the listing down at any time if the unit sells locally. Serious buyers only. PAYMENT INFORMATION: If purchasing through eBay, a $500 non-refundable deposit is required via PayPal within 24 hours. The full remaining balance will be required in person within 7 days. REMOVAL INFORMATION: Payment in full is required within 7 days. No exceptions. The vehicle will not leave until it"s paid in full. Removal of the vehicle will need to be done in a timely maner, but we can be flexible on this. The buyer is responsible for removal. We will NOT ship the vehicle. We will NOT research shipping rates, etc. If the buyer wants to utilize a third party shipping company to remove the vehicle on their behalf, that"s fine.
