Vehicle description
1998 Freightliner Century. Condition is Used.
I"ve had this truck about 5 years. In Dec 2016, I got sick and parked it. It was parked in a truck lot I paid monthly for, where it was vandalized and had been broken into and the dash kicked in. Of course my stereo and deck was stolen along with my personal possessions I had in it. So, I brought it home.
Now, it"s been sitting since then, and, I was sick and didn"t go out and start it. A few months ago I finally got my head around the fact that I would never drive again. A hard pill to swallow, but with my Dr"s help-swallow it I did.
Now it only starts with starter fluid and won"t stay running .
1998 Freightliner Century it may have as much as 2 million miles. Inframe at approx. 1.4 million miles. Detroit 470HP Super 10 Speed replaced with rebuild July 2015. All alums, tires are 50% or better, but they have been sitting awhile. LOL Diffs shimmed and repacked Aug 2015. Overhead ran and front bearings replaced May 2015 along with alignment, balancing and new tires. Fuel averaged between 6.7 and 7.5.
This is a good truck that made me good money. It is a good starter truck, project truck, or parts trucks. The lucky new owner will also get everything trucking I have, except a few bungees I use around the house and yard. :O)
Buyer must tow, haul, or repair this truck to move it.
Good luck and happy bidding!
