Don"t miss this chance to own a well loved Dutchman pop-up camper that has been fully reconditioned. The interior is fresh and recently cleaned. No mold, dirt, grime, or mildew. This was our first camper when we had 2 kids and now we have 4 and they have all gotten older and bigger. So basically we have outgrown it. We are ready to pass this on to another family who loves the outdoors as much as we do. We have invested in a larger camper now and don"t have a need for this one anymore. We are the second owners and have owned it for 20 years. We purchased as a trade in from 3-way campers in Marietta, Ga. in 1998. Many family trips and memories made in this camper.
Weighs 1500 lbs and can be pulled with a minivan or SUV with no problems. We used our Honda Odyssey to pull it with no issues. As you will see by the pictures that the canvas is in beautiful shape and there are no holes or tears in it anywhere. All of the original features work inducing the sink, refrigerator and the gas cook top. This camper is a bit different than the original Duck 1004 since I added a dry box to hold all of the dirty stuff like carpet, water hoses, electrical cords and jack stands. The dry box also holds the LP tank for the grill and all of which will come with the camper.
Tires were replaced in 2015 and basically have low miles on them. The entire underside was undercoated to prevent rot and bugs. I have added a class 3 receiver for adding a bike rack if you choose. The roof was recently repainted with a long lasting automotive urethane and resealed to prevent water damage. The A/C cover is new and replaced
The insides have tinted vinyl windows and curtains. Upgraded LED lighting in the ceiling. One side pulls out to be a king size bed and the other side is a full size. The two sofas fold down to create two more beds. There is a modular table for eating or playing games. Dometic A/C still runs cold and will keep you comfortable in the hottest of summer. Unit also features a heating element that works good for the chilly mornings. There is a rail on the outside to add an awning as the original awning was collapsed due to a flash flood one year and was bent beyond repair.
Sleeps 6 well but can get a little tight with gear and clothes with that many people. Plenty of storage and places to hide pots and pans. Runs off regular 30 amp RV power at any campsite that provides it. Water hookups with a 20 gallon storage tank for remote camping in places that doesn"t have water. This camper does not have a toilet or shower.
Makes for a great hunting camper or getaway camper. Comes complete with a spare tire as well.
