Vehicle description
This auction is for a 1998 Coachman Class C Motorhome. (Camper) Originally bought for a trip to Alaska, the time has now come for someone else to enjoy it. This camper is used and has ~79K miles. It is the Triton V10, E350 frame.
The Good: There is a 3100W generator which powers everything easily. The top unit air conditioning kept me cool in Death Valley, CA with 127 degree temperatures in Summer. It sleeps 6 (2 in the overhang, 2 on the queen size bed and 2 on the fold out table with can turn into a bed). The refrigerator and freezer work as well as the hot water heater. You can take a hot shower in this unit. I have also used this Camper in the winter. The heater works and will get the Camper quite "toasty warm" inside on a cold day. There is a new water pump in the unit. There are also all new tires (including the spare) on the unit. The tires might have about 3K miles on them. The stove and oven, and microwave all work. I had this unit in the pouring rain in the North West and have not noticed any leaks.
The Problems: In my efforts to be fully transparent, there are 2 problems with the unit that I know of: 1) The cylinder 2 has a miss. It is not noticeable at highway speeds, however when idling and slow speeds you will notice it the most. 2) I installed some .060 aluminum and made some tire wells for the unit. When I installed them, I drilled a self tapping screw into a water line causing a leak in the water system. A simple hose replacement or even a patch of the existing hose would probably solve the problem.
I am selling the unit as is and happy to answer any questions you might have.
