Vehicle description

1998 Casita Spirit Deluxe. Fully loaded with brand new Dometic awning, air conditioner ( located at the lower front end of the camper ), full wet bathroom, sleeping for three adults, or two adults and two kids ( both front side as well as rear dinning tables convert into beds ), full kitchen with exhaust fan, two burner gas stove, sink, microwave and three way Dometic refrigerator with freezer. Casita travel campers are a two piece fiberglass shell which means that water leaking into the living space is minimized and that also keeps the trailer weight down for easy towing. A six month old 12 volt marine battery is located at the outside left rear side of the camper ( it has its own locked outside compartment ). A single 20 pound gas cylinder is located at the front of the trailer. LED lights on the inside assure you of a longer battery reserve. All windows have privacy factory blinds and there is a roof hatch for ventilation ( it does not have a fan motor on it, although you could have one installed if you choose so ). The air conditioner is located at the front end and that means that this Casita has a lower height, a lower possibility of water leaking and the noise is greatly reduced for sleeping comfort. An added benefit is that this is a regular air conditioner unit and replacing it is both cheap and easy, as opposed to a couple thousand dollars proposition with a dedicated roof mounted AC unit. Electrical outlets through out the camper. The total empty weight of this camper is at around two thousand pounds and since this unit is equipped with a single axle with suspension and electric brakes, most six cylinder vehicles can tow it with absolutely no problem ( you would need, however, an electric brake controller in your vehicle ). Two stabilizer jacks are factory installed in the back for added stability once parked. The total lenght of this Casita travel trailer is 17 foot from the very front to the spare tire at the back. Connections for city water, 120 volts electric and sewer are located on the left side of the camper. Black, gray water holding tanks are located on the front bottom end. Your clean 15 gallon water tank is located underneath the right rear booth and can be reached from an outside locked door or from the inside, living area. Hot water heater is located on the outside left rear and there is a picture of it in the description. Spare tire appears unused and has a cover to prevent sun and water damage. Tire size is 205/75/R14 mounted on factory steel rally wheels but will include a brand new set of tires with alloy wheels that come with matching wheel lugs. A 2" ball hitch and a class 2 hitch or above on the towing vehicle is required. Connector is a seven point prong. All systems are functioning properly ( electrical, gas, plumbing, water heater, all appliances and electric braking systems ) and you will be ready to go out camping right away. I am the third owner of this camper and the second owner had it for over twenty years, and he, in turn bought this from the original owner just months after it was purchased new in Texas. All factory manuals are included and a clean title is in hand. This is your home away from home and is the safest way to discover new places. I do not have any experience with campers but all the available explanations are on the manuals. This camper is currently winterized, but upon request, I can flush the system and have it ready with clean water and empty gray and black water tanks for you. Plenty of pictures are to be used for reference but can take more upon request. This camper is located on the East Coast, a stone throw away from Washington DC and you would need to pick it up. Email if you need any additional information. Deposit thru PayPal and rest in cash when you pick up the camper. You will be completely satisfied and as happy as can be. Good luck bidding.
