“This vehicle is in very good condition. It has a clean title with no accidents and no liens. The engine, transmission and all mechanical functions work great with no leaks. The exterior is in good shape with some of the nicks and chips you might expect on a twenty-year-old vehicle. The interior has been significantly updated. Vehicle description
You are bidding on a 1997 Winnebago Rialta built on a VW Eurovan chassis. It has a 6-cylinder VR-6 engine that gets 15-18 mpg. This clean Rialta has been specially retro-fitted and thoughtfully updated for dry camping (camping in the boonies, without electricity), while still retaining its vintage Rialta nature. If you know Rialtas, you know that the sought-after RD floor plan seats 8 with seat belts and sleeps 4 comfortably, in two double beds. It has four captain’s chairs (the second row chairs turn into one of the double beds) and a booth with bench seats and a pull-out table that turns into the rear-most bed. It has a telescoping bathroom, a full kitchen (2-burner gas stove and sink and space for a cooler), outdoor shower, a nice awning, new brakes, new tires last year, new engine battery, great aerodynamics and gas mileage. The vehicle has a clean title with no accidents and no liens. The engine, transmission and all mechanical functions work great with no leaks. T he exterior is in good shape with some of the nicks and chips you might expect on a twenty-year-old vehicle. It has an outdoor shower, an awning, new brakes, new tires last year, new engine battery, great aerodynamics and gas mileage. We have loved it, but are on to a bigger rig that better fits us and our teenage kids.
PLEASE NOTE that the interior has been substantially remodeled from the original.
Interior Features include: Dash and overhead A/C Maxx ceiling fan Skylight Granite countertop Laminate flooring Two coach batteries Two-burner LP Gas stove - original Kitchen sink and faucet - original Telescoping bathroom with toilet, sink and shower (needs a new showerhead). Wood cabinets for extra storage LED lighting
What it DOES NOT HAVE: Original TV, microwave, or refrigerator Generator (if dry camping for extended period, we ran engine to charge coach batteries) Rooftop A/C unit Carpeted floor and ceiling Closet door
Overall condition of the interior is good with minor exceptions. It has the original upholstery that does show wear in some places. Also, there is some cracking of the plastic molding along the driver side and passenger side door. It is missing a plastic light cover above the rear captain"s chairs as well as the outer part of a seat adjustment knob on the driver"s side - though this still works.(See photos.)
There are great videos online that show how the booth seats turn into the first bed and the second-row captain’s chairs turn into the second bed.
