We are the second owners of this beautiful, economical and smooth-running six cylinder Rialta. We have enjoyed it for the past 10 years during which time it has been well maintained and repaired as needed. Paint looks good and graphics are perfect since it has always been stored under cover. Interior looks great - carpeting and seats have always been covered. There is minimal thread separation on the seats (common to Rialtas with cloth seats). Original bed spreads and pillows have not been used and are included. The FD-Twin has residential quality mattresses which allow you to stretch out in comfort.
MODIFICATIONS AND UPGRADES: Coach AC has been upgraded to 15,000 BTU. Insulated curtains have been made for the back window and to isolate the living area from the front cab. This plus the upgraded AC provide comfort in hot summers in the Southwest. The original third seat and small folding table have been removed so that a useful three-drawer chest and counter top could be added. All removed items are included in the sale. A 12 volt TV and AM/FM CD player have been added. Driver"s and passenger"s windows have been tinted. Sale includes a three volume official repair manual.
MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS: Four new correct Continental tires (2018). New spark plugs, spark plug wires and ignition coil (2019) Six new fuel injectors (2019) New muffler (2018) New automotive battery (2020) Regular synthetic oil changes.
DISCLOSURES - EVERYTHING WORKS EXCEPT THE FOLLOWING: The original Generac generator failed and was removed 10 years ago leaving a useful storage compartment. The electric door locks do not work (locks work well manually) Check engine light is on as a result of code P1402 (EGR circuit short) This has been checked by a mechanic in Pahrump and at a VW service department in Las Vegas. EGR valve and EGR solenoid are OK. It appears that there is a faulty signal from the ECM (computer) The vehicle appears to run very well so I have chosen to not pursue this problem.
This Rialta can be seen and driven in Pahrump, NV No warrantee will be provided on this 23 year old classic.
