Newell Coach 1997 45 foot, 102 inches wide, 2 slides, Series 60 Detroit Diesel, B500 automatic transmission, good running unit. Newell, the premier builder of million dollar motor home and coaches, built this unit in 1997. Has around 125,000 miles. Check out Newell coaches website nice workman ship, and very pricey. The coach came from the factory as a normal motor home floor plan with walk thru bathroom. The 2nd owner removed the bed and dress in the back and place sofa’s in that area. Easy to remove and put bed and dresser back (no, I do not have them). They also removed the shower and put another sofa in that space. They used the bus for a day office bus. The plumbing and tanks are still there to re-install the shower. I purchased this coach with 4 buses that I sold the owner 2 years ago . I’m into buses, but this was part of the deal. It needs work to be a show piece again. The coach starts up and drives nice, but, the AC does not work, it appears to have a broken fitting right at the compressor. The hydraulic system does not work property, and as such, the slides do not work. It is missing the seal on one of the slides and you can see daylight. The reason for the hydraulic pump not working was a short in the shore hook up power cord that shorted out and burned the pump and cord. I’m sure that their or other issues as well, but seems like the drive train is solid. The house water system and lights work properly. large refer, lots of storage. But it needs lots of TLC. The exterior paint is good, has small bumper damage in the front passenger side. This is for sure a fixer upper. And If I was in Florida, I would do just that, but I’m in California, so does not work well for me. Very low reserve, very low… in fact the engine, trans and genset is almost worth the reserve price.
