1997 National, Tropi-Cal model 235 - 36" wide-body motorhome,
on Ford F530 super duty chassis with a 7.5L EFI V-8 engine - 41,900 miles .
This single/super slide-out (sofa & dinette) unit, sleeps 4, and features an extended wheel base, with tag-axle for a more stable ride and improved handling - it drives and handles great. Features include: overdrive automatic transmission, tinted windows with screens, insulated cargo bin floors, outside shower, double porcelain sink in galley, recessed fluorescent lights, oak cabinets and trim, swivel and reclining seats, recessed cook top with cover, Corian counter top with sink cover, side-by-side refrigerator with ice maker, microwave-convection oven, day/night shades, porcelain toilet, on-demand water pump, furnace with ducted floor heat, dual-roof and dash A/C, 5.5 KW generator, hot water heater, backup camera, free-standing dinette with 4 chairs, stainless steel wheel inserts, hydraulic leveling jacks, and a 6-way power drivers seat. Additional upgrades include: a washer/dryer (like new), full awnings, slide-out topper, and Clean-dump RV macerator system for waste dumping.
Motorhome runs and drives good. Radial tires have less than 500 miles on them. The coach is in generally fair to good condition. NOTE - Some TLC, repair work and maintenance is needed . Last year while pulling into the driveway of our home, the motorhome caught the edge of the house eaves, causing a dent in the motorhome roof and tearing the roof covering. The tear in the roof covering was temporarily sealed; however, additional repair is needed. See the last photo. While in storage, someone bumped into the right front fender, cracking the fiberglass. It is relatively minor and can be repaired while on the vehicle. See the second to last photo. The motorhome has a relatively new starting battery; however, the 2 hotel batteries need replacement.
