“We had planned to completely refurbish this coach with a new EPDM roof and a custom interior. I have had many years of RV and cabinet building experience. We completed the new roof with all new decking and demoed the interior. It is in fine mechanical condition, but we have changed our plans. The Chevrolet 454 runs great.” |

Vehicle description
My spouse and I acquired this coach a little over a year ago. We had plans to make it our full time retirement home. Summers in Evergreen, Colorado and winters in Fort Myers, Florida. After we lived in it for several months, I started noticing some old water damage. A couple of places on the interior outer walls and a few stains on the ceiling. It had also negatively affected some of the cabinetry. Because it was going to be our “Forever” home, we planned a complete roof rebuild. The coach has a steel cage type frame structure and it was totally sound and rust free. We removed all of the old roof sheathing (It was OSB) and replaced it with much stronger plywood. Next we applied a brand new one-piece EPDM roof system. It was a big job, but worth every hot, sweaty, minute. No more leaks for a long, long time.
After completing the roof, we decided to do a complete interior rebuild. New paint on the walls, custom built cabinets and hardwood flooring. It would have been wonderful, but we changed our minds… We have done the demo and part of the repairs. New floor sections in the bedroom and new wainscot as well. The rest must be done by the new owner.
Pros:
Low miles 454 Chevy Vortec runs great (465 Horsepower) Transmission, no issues Two, one year old batteries; house and starting Brand new Coleman Mach 8, 15,000 BTU air conditioner (ready to install) Brand new Coleman digital thermostat (ready to install) Brand new Coleman ducted ceiling grill (ready to install) Dometic double door refrigerator (three-way) excellent Range works as new Combination microwave/convection oven (overhead) 12volt water pump Macerator for sewer waste dump Tire are not new but excellent tread No cracks in any window or windshield Ten gallon water heater with electric “Hot-Shot” Firestone air bags on front axle "Hellwig" anti-sway bar on rear axle
Runs and drives just fine…
Cons:
Interior must be completed by new owner. All appliances and bathroom works - as is.
This coach needs a new owner who has cabinet making skills and a desire to travel or live in full time. It is best suited for a couple. The new owner can design and build the interior to suit their own requirements…
I have attached photos showing; before demolition, after demolition and roof repair.
The coach is located in south Florida and will be available for viewing and/or purchase.
NOTE: Vehicle is sold as is where is, pursuant to Florida law. .
