Vehicle description

1997 George Boy Cruisemaster gas motorhome.
This is a large, spacy RV that would work beautifully for an affordable road coach, Hunting lodge trailer, lake house starter home, or a "large" tiny home. Frame is a 1997 Chevrolet P30 with 454 MFI engine.
Father in law gave it to us, it"s on his farm in Sutherland Springs, TX south and east of San Antonio. Progress so far: new ignition battery and house batteries, Autopark brake ram rebuilt, green switch replaced, U joint replaced, oil changed twice, new front bushings, new front air bags, new microwave oven, new master window coverings (fabric shades) new bedding, new bedroom and kitchen paint, new dinette seat coverings, living room couch cover (no damage underneath) new bath sink and faucet, new distributor, new spark plugs, rebuilt front cabinets, new front speakers (not yet installed), new front lighting, new dinette area lighting, new pleated shades in salon and kitchen, new bathroom shade and both roof air conditioners blow cold and strong. New bath backsplash, new smoked skylight, new fuel pump in gas tank, blistered clear coat sanded off lower green body. Interior engine lid latches added. New waste hose, one headlight replaced. All running and marker lights working, all blinkers, tail lights and brake lights working. Includes one large slide-out for the living room dinette/couch area, drivers side.
This RV was lightly used over the last 6 years as the owner got older. This is a project that we got for free and put $5K into over the last 6 months as we visited his house. The 454 MFI engine has an issue where it starts and runs quickly but doesn"t pull well under load and misses on hills. We have receipts for $5K on the project overall but recognize the unknown engine challenge will affect the price. Finally the engine-driven AC for the front cab needs freon, but the compressor turns freely so we don"t anticipate a material issue there.
Projects left- adjust parking brake cable, repair leak on front left leveling jack hose, repair auto stair motor. propane system worked great at last use but has not been tested. Test Norcold fridge, shows a code but shop says not a big issue. Generator ran smooth and strong producing good power last month but did not want to catch this weekend. Good tread on 6 tires.
We will sell it for less than we have in it to keep the value fair to you. Fun project, these are good looking body designs given the age.
