For sale today is our 1997 Freightliner FLD120 tandem axle digger derrick truck. This truck has reliable power under the hood, with a Cummins 10.8 liter turbo diesel engine, backed by a 6-speed automatic transmission. This truck runs and drives just like it should. Big-boy digger here, with a Simon-Telelect General rear mounted boom, featuring a 48,000# digger, with a 3-Section Boom and an 80" Sheave height. The 3rd section on this boom IS insulated, which you do not see a lot in these trucks. Another feature, this truck boasts BOTH a riding console AND rear standing controls-options your operator will really appreciate. Additional features include a heel winch, pole grabs, and a 24" auger. This is a very versatile truck. It starts right up and drives down the road nicely. The interior is in nice shape, not all beat to death like so many of these trucks. The boom works nice, and is literally loaded with equipment. The service body is in nice shape, with the floors all solid in the storage compartments. This is going to make someone a nice truck for a long time. The tires are all in great shape. W e just drove this truck home from Tacoma, Washington with no problems at all! This truck was a single owner truck that was previously owned by the city of Tacoma.
