This is a 1997 Ford E350 Powerstroke turbo diesel ambulance. It has 269000 miles, automatic transmission, power windows, power door locks, cruise control, air conditioning, and all the power amenities available in this year in the Econoline series vehicle. It fires right up and runs great, doesn"t smoke or have any mechanical problems. The transmission shifts as it should and it just finished a nearly 300-mile trip. The tires have an excellent amount of tread remaining on them and it does not need any immediate repair or service.
All of the original ambulance equipment is still in this vehicle, lights, strobes, light bar, flasher, flood lights, and all of that related equipment is functioning. The only piece of the Emergency Equipment that does not work is the siren. The Whelen siren box does not turn on, I am assuming that at the box itself the fuse has been removed. I did not take it apart or remove the unit to check the fuse that is typically on the back of it.
Inside of this ambulance everything is still installed and intact with the exception of the 110 volt inverter. It has been unplugged and removed from this unit. I did however find one for sale locally that I could purchase and easily install if the buyer requests so. All of the cabinets, doors, and drawers appear to be in good functioning condition with nothing obviously broken. The suction system, oxygen system, rear blower, and other related amenities are all seeming to function properly. This unit can be put back into service without any repairs needed.
This vehicle is located here in Chico, California, which is approximately an hour and a half north of Sacramento on Highway 99. This vehicle will come with a clear California title, and the registration is valid until February of next year. I do not accept payments, checks, or anything of the sort. I only accept cash in hand if you are picking this vehicle up. If you are having this vehicle shipped I will accept a bank transfer or a bank check. Please understand that if you are paying with anything besides actual cash in hand, it will take up to 10 business days for your funds to clear. This vehicle is not able to leave the site until the payment method has cleared. There will be no exceptions to this rule. 1997 Ford E350 Ambulance - YouTube Video will open in a new window
