Vehicle description
For sale is a 1997 Coachmen Santara class A 35 ft motorhome. I purchased it from the original owner in 2016, used it once, and unfortunately have had to store it since due to life changes (work and children).
It has been started and run until warm monthly or every other month and is currently in outdoor storage in winterized condition. The previous owner replaced the majority of the carpet with vinyl wood flooring before selling it to me and replaced the fold out couch with a movable reclining love-seat and some desk space to work from. It has 2 slides outs (one in the bedroom and one in the living space), all working appliances (Air, fridge, freezer, water heater), a space for a hanging TV, tons of storage both inside and out, and 4 hydraulic jacks for leveling/stability when parked. It has a Ford chassis with a gas fueled v8 and gets roughly 8mpg. It has 2 new rear tires on the 3rd axle and the other tires do not appear to need replacing anytime soon. The cockpit AC probably could use a charge as it blows medium-cold air and it will be in need of an oil change before any long trips. The bathroom ceiling vent was left cracked open when it snowed last year so the bathroom and bedroom ceilings have water discoloration. I have not tried cleaning that yet, but I don"t think it is a permanent stain. I can get pictures of that if needed. Feel free to have a mechanic inspect it locally (Flagstaff, AZ) as I"m no expert when it comes to these things. The RV is being sold AS IS so please be comfortable with it before purchasing. Thanks for your interest!
