1997 Coachman Class B RV in Great Condition. 66,500mi.
I bought this RV in July to surprise my wife. Turns out she doesn"t love camping as much as she thought she did. We took it on one trip to check it out this Fall. I just received a job transfer out of state, so the RV has to go. My loss is your gain! I looked for a long time waiting to find the perfect RV for 2 adults. .maybe two adults with a small child. This is it! Perfect size, very good condition, Low miles. Small enough to park in a normal space. Drive anywhere, park, and camp. No fuss.
This is a 1997 coachman brand Class B RV with a high top and upper bunk bed. It also has a single sofa bed behind the drivers seat. The gentleman who had it for many years before me spend a considerable amount of money refreshing the interior of this unit. New paint, new wood/laminate flooring in back, brand new drivers/passengers seats(he wanted leather), new throw pillows, curtains, etc. It has been gone thru front to back.
RV features sink, small tub/shower(we never used), marine toilet with holding tank. Microwave, 3 way fridge, propane heat, propane 2 burner range. Roof air/heat. 2.8kw generator, inverter, small(maybe 19in?) lcd tv, hookups for campground, power water, sewer, cable. Never used generator other than starting it up for a few minutes to run. .has 160hrs on it
The drivers area features new leather seats, tilt wheel, power steering, cruise, am/fm stereo (i think it has CD), map lights, etc. Engine is legendary 5.4L v8 with 4 speed auto. Has factory tow package. Exterior is in above average shape with glossy finish.(SEE NOTE BELOW)
Mechanically, unit is in great shape. No leaks, no weird sounds, unit drives smooth just like it should. No warning lights on dash. Previous owner was an ASE certified mechanic so he kept up with regular service- oil changes, transmission flush(50k miles), radiator/coolant(60k), etc. This unit has new Hankook tires. .less than 10k on them! They look amazing, deep tread, alloy aluminum wheels. This unit is ready to be driven cross country. We got 13mpg on our trip.
NOTE: RV is in amazing condition but two small items. There is a superficial dent about 4in long beside rear door that occurred when tree branch hit unit.(See photo) It was there when I bought it. This never bother me so I never fixed it. Also, the drivers side rear door(back cargo area- one with spare tire) does not open. Passengers side does operate normally. but drivers latch is broken. Should be an easy fix. Asking price/reserve has been lowered to reflect this.
