Vehicle description
Purchased this RV for my mom (she then passed away). Replaced engine and many things: bath sink, water heater, faucets, microwave, and tires which have about 50 miles on them. . A tiny house costs 70,000 and up. This tiny house has wheels.
This is obviously an old RV. I have taken care of it by keeping oil changed, starting it periodically, replaced fuel in tank last year, and clean it in the summer. I have driven it to a couple of RV places to have minor work (batteries, door latch). It runs very well. The engine is a rebuilt Jasper diesel engine, which I have put about 200 miles on. It sounds great. It ran on the hiway great.
I just have to say that I cannot go anywhere in it because my Mom passed and I have been taking care of her animals which are 2 horses that are old and take medications and I CANNOT TRUST anyone to take care of them while I go on a trip, but really don"t want to since my Mom is gone.
This is all the truth. The RV is for someone that likes and KNOWS vintage Treks or RV"s. There are things that need fixed and or just looked at to monkey around with and repair. I am a girl, and the things needing fixed are minor and that with some elbow grease and frugal purchases would make someone a very nice and fun RV. This RV is not perfect ! ! I have spent the MAJORITY of money that needed to get it acceptable. About 3 years ago, it passed inspection, but has set since (with me starting the engine, running ,and checking fluids religiously. I believe that someone that is interested in vintage and is willing to work on many MINOR projects would not be unhappy with this RV.
