1996 Sundowner Sierra/Sunlite - Four Horse Slant Aluminum Goose Neck Trailer with Living Quarters - (THE LIVING QUARTERS AREA HAS BEEN COMPLETELY STRIPPED DOWN TO THE STUDS AND IS READY FOR NEW LQ OR LEAVE IT THE WAY IT IS FOR TACK/CAMPING/PACKING GEAR, AS I HAVE BEEN DOING.)
The following items are still in the LQ area: Air Conditioner on roof, with new heat strip; Black and Gray water holding tanks, pipe and shut off valves still inn place; Bathroom roof crank up vent with Louver cover on roof; Satellite TV system on roof; Curtains; Battery for electric jack.
-The trailer is 38" Long from hitch to bumper. -Living Quarters Short Wall is 10"6" and Long Wall is 14"6". -Long Wall of Horse compartment is 16"6". -Mid-Tack is 3". -Total floor length of trailer is 30".
This trailer is in Very Good Condition overall! There are a few small minor cosmetic dings and dents, but nothing out of the ordinary for a 21 year old trailer. I tried to take enough pics to show everything. A piece of Plexiglas is miss out of the front drop-down window/door. The floor is is great shape and there are rubber mats in horse area. Tires are 10 ply and they are at about 70%, spare include. Missing a hub cap. Mid-Tack room with access door to LQ. Mid-Tack has a lot of bridle hooks and saddle stand can be used in Mid-Tack or Rear-Tack, where there is a removable divider/partition. Ladder for roof access. Hay rack on roof along with aluminum truck tool box. One piece aluminum sheet roof. Roof seems have been taped with commercial RV tape to help prevent water leaks. Jack has been converted to electric. Manual crank handle is still in trailer. Brakes, wheel bearings and lights were all gone through this past summer and all work great. Accessory lights are currently not wired to battery. The trailer pulls great and being aluminum, it should last for many, many years to come.
