hello, i"m relisting my truck due to a non-paying bidder who wanted to stop the auction to call me and negotiate the price and work a deal out of eBay, sorry for the inconvenience this has caused! ! this 1996 Peterbilt truck is in great mechanical shape, it has a CAT 3406E, 1LW prefix, 550HP engine, pulled out from a wrecked on the right side Volvo 770, it has 426,000 original miles on a factory built engine, NOT REMANUFACTURED OR REBUILT, but a factory orig. engine to the Volvo verified by WAYNE CATERPILLER of Evansville Indiana, it has a rebuilt 10spd. trans., new clutch, new radiator, I have the original complete engine to the peterbilt and it comes with the truck if you have away to load and haul it, (it is a CAT 3406E, 5EK prefix, 435HP, it still runs great but it has oil in the coolant but NO coolant in the oil, the oil cooler is new as it was replaced to see if that was the reason for the problem, the complete front end was just rebuilt(springs pins, bushing and king pins and bushings) also the steering box is 1 year old, rear suspension bushing have been replaced also, the truck has a 265 inch wheelbase, the #1 driver is about 8 months old and the #2 driver is about 1 year old, brakes are good, new steer tires but will need drive tires, it has a new visor, up dated air horns, up dated air tanks under the doors from steel to aluminum, lots of new chicken lights, it is in the process of being polished as best we can do, the truck has new front fenders and a 1(one) line wet kit for frameless end dumps, this is a great running hill climbing pulling machine in good mechanical shape, it rides like a Cadillac and gets plenty of compliments,
