Vehicle description
1996 International school bus. Condition is Used.
We started a conversion into a tiny home on wheels, but it"s just not the right time for us. Seats are out, we sealed the floor, it had very minimal rust. We laid insulation down and framed out for the subfloor then laid the subfloor down. The walls and ceiling panels are off and insulation has been taken out. Front ceiling window has been converted into a skylight, but the hatch will come with the bus, along with the arm from the front. The rear hatch is on and sealed. Rear heater has been removed as well. Roof has been painted 1 coat with flexseal, you can have the rest of the 5 gallon bucket.
Runs great, just charged the batteries up and starts on first try . Has 183,978 miles on it. Engine is T444e with Model a 190f 7.3l
If you"d like to see a video of the engine running, we have a video on youtube [wandering minimal]. Front tires are more worn than the back ones, but all in good shape. The gas gauge doesn"t seem to be working, but probably an easy fix. There is about 1/4 tank of gas in it now.
It"s a wonderful bus, we are sad to see it go, but just cant do a conversion right now. Buyer must pickup within 7 days or arrange shipping. We are 30 miles east of St. Louis. There is a hotel in town.
