Vehicle description

1996 Fleetwood American Eagle 40" top of the line diesel pusher with 95k miles. This was Fleetwoods flagship fully loaded RV back when it was built. This chassis is a much heavier duty chassis than what is built today. Powered by a Cummins 8.3L mechanical P-pump motor with a couple minor upgrades and aftermarket exhaust, this coach gets 12 mpg when not towing and around 10.5 mpg towing our 28" enclosed trailer. Engine has aftermarket exhaust brake to assist with braking on long grades and while towing. Tires were replaced 3 years ago and are in great condition with no weather checking or dry rotting. They are a Yokohama VIRGIN (NOT RECAPS) Super Steel RY587 made in America tire. We purchased the coach from a private party in FL where it was stored indoors its entire life. We have kept it under a large awning while we have owned it. Exterior is in very good condition for its age, minor damage from a rear tire blowout and small scuffs here and there. This has the upgraded 1 piece fiberglass roof with the upgraded rear spoiler. Xantrex Heart Freedom 20 100amp 2,000 watt inverter/charger keeps all of the interior 110 outlets powered even when the generator is not running. Diesel Onan generator has 1768 hrs on it and powers both air conditioners without any problems. Dash AC was just recharged. Huge side by side refridgerator. New convection microwave, 4 burner gas stove, and large oven. Dual basin built in Corian kitchen sink. Large walk in tube/shower. Marble floors with black carpets. Interior is dark wood and gray leather. All interior and exterior lights have been upgraded to LED"s for brighter light and less electrical draw. Coach and chassis batteries are 2 years old. All windows have awnings with aluminum protective covers so they dont sun rot. Main coach awning was replaced by previous owner and has an aluminum protective covering when rolled up. Coach has been well cared for and maintained. Few minor issues; front entry step does not retract, generator slide out switch does not work but electrical slide works fine when powered directly, driver window does not roll up/down, water line leak/slight side body damage from tire blow out, trim around top of bay doors is wavy, roof needs caulked around components (ac units, vents, etc). All in all, I havent seen another coach of this age in as good of condition as this unit. However I want to list this item accurately and thoroughly. I have purchased many vehicles and the sellers fail to mention any issues and let the new buyers figure it out for themselves, Im not ok with that dishonesty. This has been a very reliable running coach for us and I wouldnt hesitate to hop in it tomorrow and go anywhere with it. I hate to see it go but we have purchased a new Toterhome because we needed something that would tow 30k lbs. Clean and clear title in hand for easy sale.
