This unique, well-loved RoadTrek 170P is clean as a whistle and has loads of upgrades and extras: 100w solar panel runs all but the air conditioner (use shore power for that). No stinky, noisy generator! 2 6V 200 Amps Plus Glass Mat batteries under settee on passenger side. (Easy to remove solar panel if hail is expected. I’m 5"2" and I can do it.) Xantrex XPower Inverter 1500 Extra 12V and USB outlets Vitrifrigo compressor fridge runs on DC from solar, keeps ice cream solid. Far superior to the original 3-way absorption fridge. No need to level or mess with propane. All lights are now LEDs and use far less battery power. New black fiberglass window screens keep bugs out and provide better outside view than the weird old metal ones. Spiffy new curtains. No more pink & purple polyester! (What were they thinking?) New vehicle battery 6/19. 19-inch 12V DC Hi-Def TV with 50-mile antenna means football almost anywhere. Oxygenics BodySpa RV shower head plus new shower fixture. Push the button to slow water to a trickle while you soap up and save water. New dump valves. So much quicker and easier now! Microwave. Never use it, but it’s there. New water pump for sink, shower, etc. Bike rack. Also great for folding chairs, btw. Monstaliner™ exterior finish — “made from military grade, UV permanent, highly cross linked aliphatic polymers and moisture impermeable ceramic reinforcement.” No silly stripes or decals. Lower kitchen cabinet has slide out drawers so it’s easy to get to everything; no more dragging everything out or sticking your head back in there to find something. Continental spare tire cover— with new (10/15), unused tire. Others purchased 2014. All are Toyo Open Country AT2 XL Load in great shape with plenty of tread. All woodwork, stainless, chrome, vinyl, and other surfaces are freshly cleaned, waxed, and polished. Regular oil changes, tire rotation, etc. LOADS of extras — pretty much everything you need to jump in and go. Way too much good stuff to list here! Tiny chipped spot on windshield. Repaired with resin 2 years ago. It’s doing its job but is not invisible. Awning has small tear at edge. There’s an occasional tiny, usually hard-to-hear chirp or squeak that 3 mechanics haven’t been able to track down, but all felt it wasn’t anything serious. (One wanted to buy the van!) It’s come and gone the past three years with no problems. If you ’ re familiar with RoadTreks, you know the 170 Popular is a favorite and a good vintage one is hard to find — especially in Oklahoma or surrounding states.
