Vehicle description

1996Coachmen Santara 30’ class A motorhome. 30,450miles Ford F53Chassis, 460 cu in fuel injected, Ford engine, overdrive transmission withcruise control. I have had this motorhome for a few years. I purchased thisas a project and do not have the time to continue working on it. I am sellingit as a project, even though you could camp in it right now if you wanted to. Itstarts right up and runs great. Below is a list of the condition of differentcomponents and things I have done. · Water damage/delamination - It has both, mostly on the sides because the windows were not sealed properly from thefactory. You can see waviness on the outside and some of the inside walls coulduse new paneling. It does not smell bad, and my family camped in it like it is. · Outside storage - most storage doors don’tstay latched closed, most need latch adjustment. · Sleeps - maybe six if kids are involved? This a rear bed model, the couch folds out and the table converts to a bed. · Tires - I believe they were replaced in2014, the tread is great, there is dry rot on the front tires. · Dash AC - Doesn’t work, will need newlines and possibly more, didn’t work when I got it. · Roof AC - Works good, blows cold. · Fridge - Worked the last time I used it. · Stove - Like new. · Microwave - Works good. · Water heater - worked the last time I usedit, electric start. · Hydraulic leveling system - Works fine, see pics. · Radio - Recently replaced with Bluetoothstereo, with new speakers. · TV - Works good, amplified antenna onroof. · Generator - It ran years ago, we didn’tuse it, now there is not enough fuel in the tank to start it, so it isuntested. · Water System - The pump and manifold aredisconnected but included. There is a new water distribution manifold includedyou will have to install it to use the freshwater storage tank and pump. Thisis not needed at a campsite with a fresh water supply. · Electric - No known issues. New coachbattery. All light work. · Automatic steps - Work good, rebuilt withnew motor and computer board a couple years ago. · Radiator - Replaced with new radiator. · Backup camera - Replaced with a hardwiredcolor camera. · GPS - Magellan GPS included. · Bike Rack - Includes a like new Hitch Haulwith the bike rake add on. · Roof - It looks original, could use areseal. Was probably coated once or twice. · Air suspension - There are airbags on allfour corners. I replaced one of the front bags. They must be inflated manuallybut hold air and work fine. · Includes : Spare tire, jack, two sets ofjack pads for the leveling system, full set of replacement marker lights forthe front and back, mics parts, manuals, etc. · Locks - I do not have the door keys, Ionly have ignition keys and a key for the storage compartments. · Awning - It is starting to tear where it ismounted to the motorhome. Still has some life left in it. · Seats - Need seat covers, the couch anddinette look good. · Carpet - Not bad for the age, no smells. · Batteries : I recently replaced the housebattery with a brand-new deep cycle battery, the chassis battery is a few yearsold. I would encourage anyone interested to look come look at itand ask questions before you commit to buy. I will take cash on pickup, please contact me for other payment options.
