For sale is a very nice 1995 Stewart and Stevenson M1079 LMTV with only 2757 original miles. This truck is equipped with the emission free Caterpillar 3116 6 cylinder diesel engine and the Allison 7 speed Automatic Transmission with dual driving mode 30/70 front to rear power for Street driving and 50/50 traction lock true 4x4 for serious off road adventures. The truck is equipped with air brakes and an air ride cab for the 3 passengers. GVW on this behemoth is a svelte 24,000 pounds so it can be legally driven in all 50 states by anyone with a driver"s license. This is a very nice example of an M1079 LMTV and would be the perfect candidate for a camper/expeditionary vehicle for the hard core adventurer. The rear cabin of the truck is prewired with lights, power outlets and circuit breaker panel like you would find in your house. There are 5 windows in the rear cabin complete with screens. The truck even came with a brand new jack with instructions still attached. I have a clean NH title to the truck in hand so it is ready for immediate delivery. Truck starts first crank every time and even has available ether start for those sub-zero mornings. Known minor issues: windshield washer pump is inoperable, central tire Inflation system controller was originally missing.
