Vehicle description
Up for sale with NO RESERVE is my beloved 16" 1995 Scamp travel trailer. This trailer is awesome and I wish I could still justify keeping it, but I moved from Washington state to Florida, and the family wants a boat.
I bought this Scamp about a year ago and dumped thousands into her, thinking this was a lifetime investment into the future of my family. I knew that the money I put in her I would never get back, but didn"t think that I would be selling her shortly thereafter.
I hate to see her go, but can only hope that the next family can create memories that last a lifetime. Here are her improvements and features:
-layout # 6, bathroom in front with toilet and shower - upgraded shower head with awesome water pressure - cushions in excellent condition -curtains in very good condition, with matching curtain ties -upgraded new 45 watt power converter with 3 stage battery charger. -dual propane tanks (both full) -interior paint with customized knobs on all drawers and cabinets -3 way fridge with freezer works great and gets cold in a few hours -electric brakes and all exterior lights work -7000btu rooftop a/c works awesome and will keep you very comfortable. The rooftop gasket was just replaced 3 months ago, so no leaks -Blackwater and freshwater tanks and valves work as planned -upgraded LED lights throughout the interior. This mod cuts down on power consumption immensely. -hot water heater works as planned -2200lbs loaded with camping gear, water tanks and propane tanks full -window screens -brand new trailer tires installed 3 months ago -anti sway bar -deep cycle battery in good condition -clean Washington State title and current registration. -frame and axle welded for reinforcement with skid plate. -water pump and sump drain pump for bathroom work great. -gel coat just polished. Could use a coat of wax now.
In addition to the above, the winner will get all of the gear stored in the trailer associated with camping. Leveling blocks, rugs, extra bulbs, sewer hoses and connections, fresh water hose and new filters, and a bunch of other stuff. This alone is worth a few hundred if you need to go buy it before you begin your voyage.
The trailer needs nothing. There are a few things that could be addressed if you chose to, but not necessary:
-3way fridge piezo lighter is broken. This only affects the propane setting. You can either replace it for $60 or light the pilot by hand. -the previous owner went silicone crazy around the exterior rivets and windows in what he thought was preventative maintenance. I removed a lot of it and there are no leaks. Silicone is a terrible idea. Don"t ever do it. There is more to remove if you choose. -there are two interior lights that don"t function. The bulbs were replaced but that didn"t help. The fixtures probably need replacing. There are plenty of other lights so i don"t miss them. If you do, they are $15 a piece and a few minutes of your time to change out.
I am all about transparency and have nothing to hide in this transaction. This Scamp will make you very happy for years to come. You could pick it up today and go straight to the campground.
This is a no reserve auction! This Scamp is listed locally as well and I am certain it will go quick, as it is truly turn key.
Don"t wait to bid or you may miss out. If you wait and I sell it locally, you will regret it.
If you have zero feedback contact me first or I will delete your bid. Shipping is at buyers expense. Trailer may be stored at buyer"s expense in my storage spot for $100 a month, not-prorated. Storage fees will start 7 days after auction end.
