1995 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 Twin Turbo AWD 6 spd manual, AC PW PDL PS. High mileage body 192K miles, many new parts and upgrades. NOT street legal with aftermarket ECU installed. To be street legal the stock ECU must be used and car must pass smog check. I have the stock ECU.
I bought the car in 2013 paid $5000, car ran great but was smoking during smog check, told it would not pass again if not addressed. Over a period of about 2 years I disassembled the car and make improvements, spent approx. $12K. I bought a used JDM engine and trans for parts. New parts include:
New OEM short block, rebuilt cyl head, full gasket kit OEM, Dynamic Racing "DR650" turbos $3500, oil & water pump, Goodyear racing timing belt, V belts, silicon rad hoses, aluminum radiator, aftermarket intercooler kit, motor mounts, 360cc injectors, new SS fuel lines and fittings, HP in tank fuel pump, fuel regulator kit, trans resealed, transfer case resealed, 4 new OEM ECS struts, lowering springs (2) sets, front axles, frt wheel bearings, Teflon bushing kits F&R, One piece drive shaft (3SX) rear wheel steering delete kit, large front sway bar, eng oil cooler, all new AEM gauges, New Michelin tires, drilled & slotted rotors F&R, "Jester" flash ECU Chrome V2 installed, AEM ECU, FAST A/F ratio gauge, short shifter, battery installed in back, rear body stiffener bar, Aftermarket SS exhaust system. Many more items I"m probably forgetting.
In the summer of 2016 the car was running, has issues with tuning with stock ECU. I bought the "Jester" ECU and wasn"t able to figure it out, bought new AEM ECU $1500 and was going to tune the car, but got burned out. I have since moved twice and no longer have the garage or desire to work on the car, plus area I now live in snows a lot and you really need a 4x4.
I have the original engine, mostly complete. Car has the JDM 6 speed trans installed. JDM short block included, Megan struts, Original intercoolers, factory service manuals, many of the new parts are from 3SX and Ninja Performance. If you"re into the VR4"s and need parts this is a great deal, or if you have the knowledge to "tune" the ECU this may be for you. I have many small parts that go with car, plus oil & filters etc.
Pictures were taken at various dates between 2016-2017, car is located in Tehachapi, CA 93561, sold as is where is. Bring a trailer and truck, pick up all the parts. I"m losing a great deal of money, but hopefully someone can use the car and parts.
