Vehicle description
We are selling because we don"t want pay for monthly storage anymore.
Clean Title.
Buyer to pay cash at pick-up.
Pick-up location will be at the Home Depot parking lot in Hillsboro, OR.
The RV is sold as is, where is, with no returns or guarantees. Buyer assumes all responsibility.
Condition: The RV has a new battery, it starts, and runs. It is derivable, but will need repairs before a long trip. First thing will be to replace the rubber fuel line that goes from the fill spout, to the tank. Should be an easy job, just a couple clamps and the new hose.
The motor is a Chevy 350 5.7L V8 TBI. The motor starts and runs, see Known Issues #1 below. The vehicle is a Chevy G30 van and has 71,411 miles. The dully tires need air, but are in very decent shape with lots of tire tread left. The automatic transmission works and appears to shift normally with no known issues. The electric generator starts and works with no known issues.
Gasoline electric generator is a Guardian Quietpact 40G. Model 004700-0 Quietpact 40G. 716 hours on the generator. Starts and generators power. 3600watts (3.6kw), 120 volts AC, 30 Amperes.
Last time we used the RV, the electric generator started and generated power, the septic worked, the propane/electric water heater worked, propane/electric refrigerator worked, the propane gas stove worked, the electric microwave worked, the shower worked, the toilet and sinks worked, the interior lights and cabin electrical work, the cabin heater worked, the roof AC worked (but needs to be charged up). The RV has been in storage for 2 years, and these items may require maintenance.
Brand new battery installed May 2018
Known Problems:
1. The motor runs smooth when driving around town. However, the motor runs rich all the time, and it sputters/coughs going uphill on the highway, particularly when driving above 35 MPH up steep inclines. The mechanic installed a new distributor and says the motor is running rich either because of an bad throttle body injector (TBI), ignition computer (ECM), or ignition wiring issue. Could just be a plugged up catalytic converter in the exhaust system.
2. The hot water heater has a slow drip when full and hot. Not sure where is dripping from.
3. The main rubber fuel line from the fill spout to the tank leaks when adding fuel and must be repaired or replaced. The line is a single 2-3" diameter 5-6" long hose, that goes from the gas inlet cap/spout to the tank drips/leaks due to old age. It"s clamped on with a basic ring clamp at each end.
4. The interior needs some attention/updating. The grey fabric above bed is hanging/sagging down. The plastic blinds are all sagging. One of the kitchen drawers runner is popped off the rail. The roof fabric near the front door has some mildew growing on it.
5. The spare tire stuck on the mount due to a rusted lug nut. Needs to be broken off the mount and a new mount installed back on the bumper.
6. Ladder is climbable, but seems a tiny bit loose.
7. Roof membrane needs washed and sealed.
8. Driver side mirror is missing.
8. "Other" as unknown/unidentified herein.
The RV comes with various accessories, including charcoal BBQ, hoses, cords, and the original vinyl windshield and tire covers.
